Retirement You can take your pension benefits from age 55 but as this is before you state pension age these benefits will be reduced because you are being paid them for longer. However, the government has announced the earliest age that you can take your pension will increase from age 55 to 57 from 6 April 2028. Thinking about your retirement in the future?
